چکیده

The interest in natural phenolic compounds has increased because of their attractive use especially as antioxidant and antimicrobial agents foods. large content Santolina chamaecyparissus L. (S. chamaecyparissus) makes this plant a target source that is worthy note. In work, new extraction technologies comprising ultrasound (UAE) microwave (MAE) assisted the S. have been developed, optimized, compared. Several factors optimized based on Box-Behnken design. Such include percentage methanol water (25–75%), temperature (10–70 °C), amplitude (20–80%), cycle (0.2–1 s), solvent pH (2–7) solvent-sample ratio (5/0.2–15/0.2 mL/g) with regard to UAE, while (50–100%), (50–100 were for MAE. composition was most influential parameter both MAEs (64%) UAEs (74%). optimum time established 15 min MAE 25 UAE. Five major detected identified by Ultra-High-Performance Liquid Chromatography—Quadrupole Time Flight—Mass Spectrometry (UHPLC-QToF-MS) extracts: chlorogenic acid, quercetin 3-O-galactoside, 3-O-glucoside, isoorientin, cynarin. With exception other four first chamaecyparissus. findings confirmed significantly more efficient method than UAE extract from

Optimization and Comparison of Ultrasound-Assisted Extraction of Estragole from Tarragon Leaves with Hydro-Distillation Method

A comparative study of ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) and hydro-distillation was performed for fast extraction of estragole from tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus L.) dried leaves. Several influential parameters of the UAE procedure in the extraction of estragole (type of solvent, extraction cycles, solvent to material ratio, irradiation time and particle size) were investigated an...

Ultrasound Assisted Extraction of Phenolic Compounds from Peaches and Pumpkins

The ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) method was used to optimize the extraction of phenolic compounds from pumpkins and peaches. The response surface methodology (RSM) was used to study the effects of three independent variables each with three treatments. They included extraction temperatures (30, 40 and 50°C), ultrasonic power levels (30, 50 and 70%) and extraction times (10, 20 and 30 mi...
